A. Teak shower seats, bath mats and accessories-returns due to defects:
We warrant that our products are free from manufacturing defects, defective materials and workmanship. If you find any product defective in any of these ways, please contact us at email@example.com immediately. We will request a photo or series of photos of the problem to submit to the manufacturer for assessment and if it is determined to be a problem we will issue a Return Materials Authorization Number (RMA#) and send you a new replacement product with a prepaid return label. Your card will be charged for the second item but upon receipt by us of the original defective product, we will reverse this charge. Following the photo inspection, if we determine that the damage does not fall under warranty we will not replace the product. If however, the product is covered by the warranty we will either repair or replace the damaged product, or offer a store credit towards a future purchase.
B. Teak shower seats, bath mats and accessories-returns for any other reason:
If you find the product was not what you expected you may return it within 14 days of receipt, prepaid, insured, unassembled and in new re-sellable condition, for a full refund less shipping costs and a 25% re-stocking fee. Custom orders may be refunded up to the time of manufacture only. If a product is not what you expected and the item was sent to you originally as a "free shipping" offer and you return it, the original shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

At all times we strive to have teak shower seats, teak bath mats and teak accessories in stock but, as with any complex movement of products, there are times when items are out of stock, shipments are due but have not arrived, etc. When such an occasion arises we will immediately change the web page to notify all viewers of the availability and we will notify you via email of such a condition. You have a full set of options: 1. Request to wait for the arrival of the item, which will be shipped immediately upon arrival. 2. Request a replacement with a like item from our inventory or 3. Request a refund, which will be granted immediately crediting your card. Please let us know your desired choice of action.

Damaged Goods Policy:
If you received an order that was damaged in shipping, the package and contents must be inspected by yourself immediately and if the contents are damaged or missing, report it to the shipper (UPS) and to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 208-226-4498 where a customer service representative will take your call and assist you. Do not return the item to us as the shipping carrier must have the opportunity to establish a claim and inspect the damaged carton. If the shipping carrier cannot verify that there is a covered loss under the transit compromised, we reserve the right to deduct a loss percentage up to and including the full purchase price of the product and associated shipping charges.

The carriers (UPS, FedEx) we use to handle and deliver your teak shower seat, teak bath mat and/or teak shower organizer will not deliver to a P.O. Box. Extra large shipments may go by common carrier trucking.

We always attempt to ship your order immediately. Orders received by 12 noon EST may go out the same day, but it may take 3 business days to process a complex and multi-piece order. Orders are processed Monday-Friday. At the furthermost distance from the warehouse, in the contiguous US (Lower 48 states) the shipping time should be no more than 8 days. Shipments to Alaska take approximately 4 days. Shipments to Hawaii take approximately 6 days.
Loss or damage to your teak shower seat, bath mat and/or accessories that occurs during shipping by a freight carrier is the carrier's responsibility. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY is to FULLY INSPECT YOUR SHIPMENT upon arrival. The Teak Shower Seat strongly recommends you fully inspect not only the packaging but also the teak contents while the driver is still on-site in order to fully ensure that your purchase is protected from damage in transit. AGAIN, DO NOT RELY ON A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE BOX(ES) ONLY. This means that you should unwrap and remove contents from the box to visually inspect them for damage. Failure to inspect your teak furniture upon arrival and note damage on the delivery ticket will leave you with no way to be reimbursed for damage or lost shipments.
If you believe that any part of your purchase is missing or damaged, then YOU MUST NOTE ANY OF THESE CONDITIONS ON THE DELIVERY RECEIPT that the driver provides BEFORE he/she leaves your immediate location. IF YOU FIND ANY DAMAGE, YOU MUST NOTE THESE DETAILS ON THE DELIVERY RECEIPT AND HAVE THE DRIVER SIGN THE RECEIPT as this is his/her ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE DAMAGE/MISSING PARTS TO SHIPMENT. Once the driver leaves the delivery premises, there is no recourse for damage the carrier has inflicted on your teak furniture.
Should damage occur, please contact The Teak Shower Seat at 208-226-4498 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours of delivery. We will take care of everything from here including filing a claim with the carrier and preparing a replacement of your teak furniture. As part of the claim process, the carrier may request to inspect the shipment again at a later date. For this reason, please keep all boxes and/or cartons intact the way that they were received until someone from The Teak Shower Seat or the carrier contacts you for further instructions regarding the damaged/missing teak pieces.

Teak Warranty Information:
At The Teak Shower Seat.com, we offer basic warranties on all of our products and stand behind what we sell. The Teak Shower Seat.com grants a limited 2 years warranty to the original consumer for defective items. This warranty covers for defects in materials and/or manufacturing in the building of the teak shower seats, teak bat mats, teak bathroom accessories and teak organizers. Our basic warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear effects on the products we sell by regular every day use, weathering/stains/water stains and minor discoloration or minor splintering of the wood. Neither does it cover damage due to unauthorized repairs or alterations (ex. Painting, staining, or changing the appearance in any way), negligence, misuse or abuse, improper assembly and acts of God.

Terms and Conditions
• "Defects" are poor materials or workmanship that impair the use of your teak furniture.
• This warranty does not apply to any cases of normal wear and tear of teak furniture.
• Normal wear and tear is defined as "the normal deterioration caused by regular use of the furniture."
• Checking, or small cracking, of teak wood is a normal and natural occurrence that should be expected during normal use.
• This warranty does not extend to the natural graying of the wood or any other discolorations.
• This warranty does not cover any damage or loss or condition that is beyond the control of The Teak Shower Seat.com including but not limited to cases of unauthorized repair, improper assembly, modifications after purchase, improper use, infestation, negligence, misuse, vandalism or any acts of God.
• This warranty only applies to the original purchaser of the teak furniture, and requires proof of purchase.
The Teak Shower Seat.com reserves the right to repair or replace any piece that is covered under the terms of this warranty. Repair or replacement could involve The Teak Shower Seat.com providing parts directly to our customer where applicable. The Teak Shower Seat.com will, at its expense, ship any piece of teak furniture back to our facility in cases where The Teak Shower Seat.com determines that the repair or replacement cannot be completed by our customer with parts supplied by The Teak Shower Seat.com.
To claim repairs under warranty, you, the customer, must first call us at 208-226-4498 to notify us of any potential problem. We may ask that photos be provided to us via email where possible so that we can determine the extent of the defect and the corrective action that is most prudent. If your teak furniture arrives in a damaged condition, you must call us within two business days so we can file a claim with our shippers. Damaged shipments will be replaced at our discretion.
Teak furniture is a product of the natural beauty of a tree - no two specimens of furniture are ever exactly alike. Teak's unique blends of grain and coloring vary from light to dark brown and even a pinkish tint, which is due to the kiln drying process. Upon exposure to natural light, over time, color variations will gradually even out to a silver gray patina.
